A SELECTION OF READER'S REVIEWS;
"If you like fantasy, but set in the real world? If you like the warm feeling when the bad guy really gets what's coming to him?…THIS IS A GREAT BOOK! A wonderful set of characters that really come alive. All the wit of Terry Pratchett, but with as much bite as 'Jaws'. I don't know what this guy drinks?…but mine's a pint! Can't wait for the follow-up!"
P. LOWRY (France)

"…I had no idea what went on at the bottom of the garden? The research into local history and legends has helped to make this fantasy story a most enjoyable read, unless of course, you happen to be an estate agent!"
G. JACOBS (Sussex)

"A thoroughly enjoyable read, with original concepts linking past and present, fact and fantasy. Read and re-read by the whole family, from ageing father to 11 year old daughter. Recommended to all."
C. CROPP (West Sussex)

"Tolkien goes to Bognor for a saucy weekend in the rockery! A HUGELY enjoyable trip to a magical garden where be fairies, elves, boggarts (who amount to far more than a hill of beans!) allied against the Forces of Darkness - Estate Agents! There's a great movie to be made here! Altogether an excellent, quirky and strangely unique book which I enjoyed from cover to cover. Oh, and make sure you're nowhere near a sacred grove if ever you get caught short!"

A Magical story filled with laughter, wonder, and hope! After reading 'Retribution' I am a true believer in the world of the 'Secret Folk! I wanted to be a more a part of THEIR world celebrating life with them, and not stuck in the greedy, materialistic world of humans. They became my friends and I eagerly looked forward to their adventures….. and, I definitely want to stay on their good side! One of my favorite environmental quotes states, "I am myself and what is around me, and if I do not save it, it shall not save me!" Sometimes humans need help achieving that! I recently gave this book to my twin for our 50th birthday! She told me, "Move over Harry Potter, there's a new 'cat' in town!" We both didn't want the magic to end!

I have now read RETRIBUTION twice since finding it on a train! If anyone had said I would enjoy a book about fairys I would have said they were having a laugh! Instead it was me having a laugh. It is the funniest book I have ever read especially the bit in the toilet. I loved 'Snaps' the ginger cat even though I do not like cats! Thank you Virgin Rail
